A 1U, 24-port Category 6A patch panel — the key component where all the network cables arriving in the server cabinet (from wall sockets) are terminated at a central, organised point and then connected to the switch with short patch cords. Category 6A fully supports 10 Gbit/s with a 500 MHz frequency band — chosen for future-ready, high-performance infrastructure. The shielded (FTP) construction gives extra protection in environments with high electromagnetic interference, such as server rooms. The 110/Krone termination blocks at the back allow fast, reliable cable connection with a punch-down tool, and the numbered ports on the front panel make tracing cables easier later on.
