A 1000Base-SX Mini-GBIC (SFP) module from TP-Link's Omada line — it transmits data at 1 Gbit/s over multi-mode fibre-optic cable. Inserted into the SFP slots of Omada switches, it is used to create fibre links over distances beyond copper Ethernet cable's 100-metre limit (between buildings, between floors). Thanks to its hot-swap design, it can be installed and removed without turning off the switch.
